My late brother, Artist, illustrator George A. Bush and Dan were longtime friends and often traded artwork with each other. About my late Brother George A. George was well known in the art industry throughout his career spanning from the late 1970's to the late 1990's. Around 2001 George was diagnosed with M. A disease that affects different people in different ways. For George the first sings of something being wrong started with his eyesight.

Of all things to be affected first, for him as a professional artist on the top of his career, he told me that he was having spells where his vision started jumping / twitching as he described it. That was in 1995 and ever so slightly it got worse as time went on. He kept on with his artwork till his vision got to the point where it took him months to complete just 1 painting. His wife was a really good artist so she continued a bit doing paintings for paperback book covers. It was a joint effort as George with several different reading glasses taped together would do some of-the higher detailed areas on her paintings like the faces and hands.

Slowly George started losing his balance and the strength in his legs, then in his arms. It was so hard to see such a talented Brother just fade away.
