Alex Ross Black Orchid rare pencil drawing ORIGINAL ART. Piece is a 9x12 character study with pencil on light vellum. There are some very minor edge folds and bends that can be matted over easily when framed or heat pressed out, see photos. I bought this from a vendor at a comic convention in the late nineties.

Alex Ross sites the Black Orchid comic by Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean from 1988 as an inspiration to dedicate himself to working in comics.
