And check out OUR NEWLY LISTED ITEMS. This is an original art page for Captain America #344, published by Marvel Comics in 1988. This is Pg 42 from the issue, and is a fantastic example, and one of the best pages from the book. It is also one of the most unique original art pages you're ever going to find, as it features Cap in battle against President Ronald Reagan! I can't recall another time that has happened, so this is a truly special page to have the Star Spangled Sentinel of Liberty going up against the Commander In Chief in The White House, as President Reagan has been turned into a reptile after drinking water with the mutagenic enzyme!
The Secret Service opens fire against The Viper, but must stop shooting out of fear of hitting the President, and The Viper breaks through a window in the White House trying to make her escape. The top edge has been clipped during production (common for art from this time period), and there are tape pieces in the margins, but not on the actual artwork. The page is signed at the bottom right corner. This is a great piece of Cap artwork from a classic issue by the late great Mark Gruenwald, along with legendary artists Kieron Dwyer and Al Milgrom, that would look fantastic framed and prominently displayed, and would be an outstanding addition to any collection.
