European-born Ike Tennessee Parker came to the United States in 1956 and to Rhode Island in 1963. A Cumberland, RI resident, he taught oil painting at Johnson & Wales University during the 1970s. He died in 2001 at age 94. Ike Tennessee Parker was an American Postwar & Contemporary artist who was born in 1906.
