Kelly's Eye! 1973, original art, large page, 16 x 20 ins, Planet of Apes, López

  
This is an original, hand drawn art page for a story published in Valiant comic in 1973. It is not a print or a copy. Feeding on the popularity of Planet of the Apes at the time, the story concerns a planet of talking gorillas who are inexplicably called'gunthroids'. The last panel, with it's reference to'gibbering apes' perhaps echoes the'damn dirty ape' line from the original movie. I will try to upload some additional scans of this page soon. The art will be sent in a protective archival bag, with a rigid A2 foam board backing board, and flat-packed in a new corrugated cardboard mailer (see last picture).
