Original Mike Peters Drawing Gag Cartoon Art Illustration Reagan Comic Pulitzer
ORIGINAL MIKE PETERS DRAWING GAG CARTOON ART ILLUSTRATION REAGAN COMIC PULITZER. THIS IS A RARE ORIGINAL CARTOON ILLUSTRATION BY PULITZER PRIZE WINNING ARTIST MIKE PETERS. I have a few original cartoon illustrations that I will be listing. This extremely rare piece of original artwork is one of a kind. This one by Mike Peters is an incredible piece of political satire. Mike Peters has won a Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 1981 an Inkpot Award in 1987 and the National Cartoonists Society Reuben Award in 1991. He is also the creator and cartoonist of the comic strip Mother Goose and Grimm. This is a great political cartoon portraying Ronald Reagan at the time that he was leaving office. The frame measures roughly 20 1/4" x 16 1/4". The double matted opening measures roughly 11 1/2" x 6 3/4". It is the original 2 panel storyboard, complete with corrections and white out. It is 100% original, hand drawn and signed by the artist. IT IS A SIMPLY INCREDIBLE POLITICAL SATIRE CARTOON BY MIKE PETERS.
The art is still crisp and vibrant. But nothing that detracts from the overall piece. Please take a look at the pictures for details. Be the envy of all your friends with this awesome artwork. It would look awesome in your collection.
