25 year-old original hand drawn art page by Sergio Aragones. This was page #24 in the third issue of Groo published by Image Comics.
It features the classic scene of panic as Groo approaches a village. Comic page is 15" x 10" and in excellent condition. Aragones is among the best and most renowned comic artists in history. He is especially known for filling his pages with small and funny details, and he became first famous for his doodles in the margins of Mad Magazine.Groo though is Sergio's opus magnum... He has been writing and drawing Groo for nearly 40 years... And the series is ongoing! While Sergio has been quite the prolific artist, his original art is covetously held by collectors and rarely becomes available.... This is especially true for original Groo comic pages.
Groo has, while not the largest, perhaps the most devoted fan bases of any comic ever. The letters pages of Groo comics gives testament to this.
